These Lock In mini mixes are a short history lesson of the hip hop that influenced our musical lives here at Homegrown HQ, the journey starts in the early 80’s with the Street Sound Electro Albums, these completion albums were the gateway into the world of Hip Hop/Rap/Graffiti andBreakdancing. And so Hip Hop became a way of life, a lifestyle choice: BeastieBoys, RUN DMC & LL Cool J were the influences and still a staple in our mixes. Today we listen and play lots of re-rubs/remixes of all the classics that stood the test of time. Homegrown.
